Kind, private, human

Chaos Club Community guidelines

Last updated 15 September 2026 · Members must be 18 or over

Chaos Club is an adult peer-support space for imperfect humans. These rules apply to app posts, comments, messages, challenges, body-doubling sessions and Sunday resets.

Our promise: we will take reports seriously, act as consistently as we can and put member safety ahead of engagement or drama.

1. Be kind without pretending everything is fine

Different opinions and difficult days are welcome. Harassment, bullying, humiliation, threats, stalking, hate speech or discrimination are not.

2. What is shared here stays here

Do not screenshot, screen-record, copy, quote, download or share another member’s content outside the Club. Do not identify another member or contact them elsewhere without permission.

3. Protect personal information

Never post home addresses, passwords, payment details, medical documents or highly identifying information. Avoid naming schools, exact routines or locations. Do not post identifiable photographs or sensitive details about children.

4. Support, do not diagnose

Ask before giving advice. Speak from your own experience. Do not diagnose, prescribe, shame or present professional medical, legal, financial or safeguarding advice as fact.

5. Keep the space safe to open

No explicit sexual content, graphic violence, scams, spam, impersonation, illegal content, pressure selling or unsolicited private messages. Add a brief content note before discussing potentially distressing subjects.

6. Live sessions are camera-optional

You may join with your camera or microphone off. Do not record a session unless everyone has been clearly told what will be recorded, why and for how long—and every participant actively agrees.

7. Report and block

Use Report beside a post or comment when something feels unsafe or breaks these rules. Use Block when you do not want to see someone’s content. For urgent help, email thatchaosmama@gmail.com. Do not start a public pile-on.

What happens after a report

Depending on seriousness and context, we may remove content, give a reminder or warning, restrict features, pause or end a membership, preserve evidence, or contact an appropriate authority. We may act immediately where there is a credible safety risk. We cannot normally share another member’s private outcome with the reporter.

Immediate danger

Chaos Club is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent health advice in the UK, use NHS 111.
